By admin | January 26, 2012

As many people know Horry County Government stop providing supplemental funding to local rescue squads. since this has happened it has placed great strains on the local rescue squads. As a result the Mt Olive and Northern Horry Rescue squad Merged. In this Merger they hope to stay afloat but the volunteers in demand and a recession upon us they could not make ends meet. So with that said the Horry County Rescue Squad Offered these rescue squads to merge with us. Now under the Horry County Rescue Squad we hope to rebuild the membership in loris and make it one of the  strongest membership the rescue squad has ever seen. Any EMT (Emergency Medical Technicians) Paramedics wishing to join please click the join tab and print out the application and turn it in at 165 hwy 905 Conway SC 29526 or you can mail it to the same address. with this merger it will make up the largest rescue squad in the county and gives members the opportunity to run in Loris area or Conway area. We encourage anyone inspiring to become a member or a EMT to contact the rescue squad.
